William Vatavuk Scholarship Award
This scholarship will be awarded to a deserving high school senior who currently attends an accredited North Carolina high school and plans on attending a two- or four-year college or university.
The money will be used toward tuition, fees for lab studies, books, computers, related media supplies or other supplies directly related to the pursuit of the diploma or degree. Any unrelated use of these funds is strictly prohibited.
Eligibility:
Must be a high school senior
Planning to attend a two- or four-year college or university
Transcripts with a minimum of a “B” average for at least the last two semesters
One letter of recommendation from either a teacher, mentor or employer. Letters from family members will not be considered.
Three (3) written essays of 400-600 words each; essay prompts can be found on the scholarship application
