This community event creates a day of family-fun, entertainment and BBQ all while supporting the community. Music, vendors and good food is what you can expect at this event.

SUPPORT

There are lots of college students who need the help and guidance of organizations like Helping All People Excel (HAPE) to prepare for college. College is expensive but so is preparing to go to college. Many students who are in need of financial assistance to attend college will receive financial aid and/or scholarships to help pay for tuition, room & board and a meal plan. But, these same students will have to figure out how to pay for college essentials like: a computer/laptop/tablet, printer, laundry detergent, surge protectors, bed sheets, blankets and the list continues. There are several supply drives for high school students, but somehow college students are overlooked…help us serve this overlooked population!

BBQ COMPETITION

Teams from Vance, Granville, Franklin, Warren and surrounding counties will gather at the Kerr Lake Country Club to participate in the Tri County BBQ competition. Team entry fee is $100. Teams will be provided pork ribs, chicken, and Boston Butt. One Grand Champion will win $500.
