Moving Up With Education Scholarship
Two (2) Two Men and a Truck Moving Up With Education scholarships are offered each year to any graduating senior who attends the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School system.
The first is a renewable $1,000 scholarship that will be awarded to an individual who will pursue a degree in education.
The second is a renewable $500 scholarship that will be awarded to an individual who is entering a technical institution.
Application requirements include: completed application; transcript from current high school; letter of recommendation from a guidance counselor, teacher or administrator; two (2) reference letters from two (2) individuals who are of no family relation; completion of the following essay in 1000 words or less: “Describe three of these core values. How have you implemented them in your education, community, and/or church involvement?”
Each of the Moving Up With Education scholarships is renewable up to three consecutive years based on the following requirements: maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher; and continuing to live the core values of Two Men and a Truck.
