The Annie S. Alexander Memorial Scholarship was established in 2009 in memory of Annie Alexander to provide scholarships to graduating high school seniors, traditional college students and adult students.

The scholarship may provide a non-renewable award for students who will pursue or are pursuing full-time undergraduate nursing degrees from accredited post-secondary institutions.

Preference will be given to African-American students from Forsyth County. Scholarships will be applied to cost of undergraduate tuition, fees, room and board, and other college expenses.
